Little Beeper's Patriot's Parade
The students and staff at Park Elementary School recently participated in a Fun Run - Little Beeper’s Patriot's Parade on Friday, September 14th. The 100 Mile Club through Fuel Up to Play 60 is incorporated to enhance physical activity among the students and faculty at Park Elementary School. Furthermore, this run allowed the children to catch the wave of patriotism and school spirit. Fuel Up Advisors led warm-up exercises and an action-filled patriot song. Veteran and guest speaker Alex Baker joined in on the fun and spoke to the students about patriotism. Mr. Baker then started the race by waving an American Flag. Parents, teachers, and students joined in the event. It was a grand ole time!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

We are a small rural diverse school but our walking program is held yearly. Our students look forward to it and the associated activities. Teachers and students participate daily. Individual, classroom and school goals are made, with recognition and awards provided. As a school, we usually run over 10,000 miles a year.
