Lower grades and upper grades learning together

Lower grades and upper grades learning together

During our nutrient week I had upper grade and pre-k/Kinder students join us, so the lower grade began testing the upper grade about the different types of healthy foods by giving them only descriptions and not showing the picture. After 20 minutes, the grades switched and continued testing each other. It was a wonderful sight to see the different ages working together.

How did you accomplish your goals?

With the students working together, I knew at least two to three of the items from each food group would be remembered, especially learning with your peer.
