RS Student Leaders Reveal Healthy Choice Survey Results.  Our Riverside leadership team surveyed Mrs. Nimtz’s first grade students about their lunch choices this year. Recently the team delivered the results of the survey and was happy to announce that, overall, our first grade students made healthy lunch choices!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Fourth grade students developed questions with their advisor. Two teachers worked with first and fourth grade students to develop, complete and report lunch choices.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

First grade students are choosing healthier foods at lunch.

How did you accomplish your goals?

1. Students developed a plan to implement and ask survey questions. 2. Students met with first graders to ask questions. 3. Fourth grade students wrote data statements to present to the first grade class.
