Physical Activity Participation

The newly formed Blacksburg High School F.A.N. (Fitness and Nutrition) Club recently hiked to the top of Chimney Rock in North Carolina. Our Marathon Kids are members of the the F.A.N. Club.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and adults were paired according to what the students felt they were able to accomplish. Some students and chaperones hiked two or three trails where others only hiked one. The goal was for all members to work as a team and make it to the top of Chimney Rock by noon, and we did it.
