We invited Garret from New Mexico to bring Maggie the cow. Garret talked about all the benefits children and adults get when they drink milk. Garret demonstrated how cows produce milk. It was an amazing experience for the students and the staff at Miles, to see a cow at their school producing milk. They had lots of questions for Garret and he was super patient will all the students. We were incredibly thankful that he was able to make the trip with Maggie

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students were very excited to come and see the cow and they took the time to complete their school work to be on time for the presentation.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The weather was a big challenge, because it was suppose to rain. We were incredibly lucky that it rained after our presentation!
