The Monster Mile Event was held on Halloween, a day where we all tend to eat too much sugar! This event encouraged healthy habits such as walking/running as well as eating healthy snacks! 210 students in our school participated in this fun and exciting event.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The Monster Mile required the partnership of student leaders, teachers, and parent volunteers to operate smoothly. Student leaders warm-up the participants up as well as passed out "lap-sticks". Parents handed out healthy post race snacks and teachers helped and even participated in the event.
