Community Involvement

Our Fuel Up to Play 60 this year involved parents and community too! Our kick off combined national walk to school day on October 5th as a great way to play 60 and incorporate more minutes in the day as a routine walk to school.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our Fuel Up to Play 60 team created posters and infomercials on the morning announcements promoting the benefits of walking. Parents walked students and encouraged participation. Books were handed out about walking safety.
