Special Education Teacher Mary Wozniak has been implementing "Brain Breaks" into her classes throughout the day. She has seen improved student achievement as well as student engagement. The students are producing a video to be shared with the
entire school on the importance of physical activity breaks in the classroom.

They worked together to commit to a common classroom goal of time and participation.
How did you accomplish your goals?
The students tracked data utilizing their Fall and Winter MAP scores. In addition, they used common formative assessments in the classroom to see achievement and growth.
What improvements have you seen at your school?
