With the help of our Building Healthy Communities grant and Fuel Up to Play 60, we were able to give a taste test to every student in our K-6 building! Each student was able to get an apple to snack on during the school day. The kids loved it!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

I would like to continue to do such food samplings in the future. We live in a rural community with farms surrounding us. Next year I'd like to reach out to local farms and see if it would be a possibility for them to donate some of their fresh produce for the students to sample.
