Our amazing Fuel Up to Play 60 team was able to get a Flag Football league started this year. We had 3 different schools compete with grades 1st-6th playing. The kids in our area didn't have an option for a sport other than volleyball during the fall season. The kids with our FUTP 60 group organized the start up and helped through the whole season with not only coaching but also reffing. The league was open to both boys and girls and we had a great number of kids that normally do not play a sport go out for football and enjoy the experience.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

We have seen more students that normally do not play sports participating in the Flag Football games during recess.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goals by hard work and determination. We got the word out and included other schools in our area with the excitement of more schools joining next year.
