We have a Mile Club where our students are encouraged to jog/speed walk one mile within a set amount of time. Students are given a certificate, T-shirt, and special 26.2 Mile Club Token for this accomplishment.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Using Log It, an online program over the summer where the kids can enter their miles jogged over the summer.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

When students are absent, I encourage them to come up after school or the weekend to make up their mile.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Our kids love to run and exercise.
