Our school wanted to get more kids drinking white milk, so we came up with a challenge to encourage children to drink the white milk. On April 1st, we put some stickers on 24 white milk cartons. The milks were then equally divided out among the 6 lunch periods we had. The students who got the milk with the winner sticker recieved a prize. On this day we had an increase of 34% of our students drinking white milk over chocolate!

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goal by talking with the lunch room supervisor and food company. They helped make sure the each lunch period had an opportunity to win prizes.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to do more challenges like this so that our students will chose the healthier choice of the white milk

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and teachers worked together to plan how many winners there would be and what prizes we could hand out.
