We ran a Milk Taste Test with chocolate, strawberry and white milk on March 1st from 3:30-6:00 PM. It was in conjunction with our after-school Arts & Literacy night.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

At meetings held every 2 weeks, we worked together to select a healthy food to taste a date where we would get a lot of participation then planned the details.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goals by making concrete plans including a sign up sheet, so team members would man the booth, calling for price quotes, varieties of milk available, and making posters for the voting. We also made announcements to drum up interest in the TasteTtest prior to the event.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Making sure that we had team members for every time that we needed help. We managed by having a sign up sheet Getting set up for the event quickly because school ends at 3:30 and our event started at the same time. We made sure to quickly come down to the area for set up and if anyone came by and we weren't quite ready for them. We asked participants to stop by in just a couple minutes because we were close to being ready for them.
