In our afterschool program, we have been making veggie smoothies with our community Farm to School staff. We have been incorporating veggies and dairy while using our math and science skills.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Student worked with AS staff and F2S staff by mixing ingredients, encouraging each other, and using our math and science skills.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Student were eager to help "cook" and were willing to taste test. They were surprised by the great taste!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

F2S staff will be coming back at various intervals to help with after-school and lunch taste tests.
