Coach W arranged for the first annual Mom Clinic for moms of football players in elementary to high school. He mailed out an agenda that covered things like preventing concussions, safety equipment, teamwork, nutrition, hydration, etc. All of the coaches from all grades were also present for questions from the moms. Rob and the coaches presented all of the information, and since I'm an RD, I presented a PowerPoint to the moms about nutrition and hydration.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This was very well received with the community and now will be an annual event before the start of school.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Moms feel more comfortable allowing their sons to play a full-contact sport after the clinic.
