Barrie Elementary participated in the Mooving through Wisconsin contest. We had each grade level compete to reach the goal of 1,000 miles and the grade that reached the goal first was awarded  a smoothie bike party. Since our students were so into the contest and reached their goal of 1,000 quickly, we started another contest where students are trying to reach the goal of 1,000 miles individually now by the end of the school year. We currently have over 50 students working towards this goal.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Students filled out activity logs and turned them in to add towards their total miles. They could walk, bike, run, swim, rollerblade to reach their goal of 1,000 miles.
