The students that participate in Fuel Up to Play 60 have become more aware of recognizing their need for exercising as well as keeping track of their movement. They have really enjoyed getting the Fuel Up to Play 60 prizes and love comparing their stories to each other about much they enjoy exercising and how often they are doing it!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We often talk about how much exercise everybody needs and what we can really count as exercise. The students involved in the program have really bought into it and truly do appreciate it.

How did you accomplish your goals?

As a group we talked about the needs of the group and how we could be successful. The students might not all record their data but they are much more aware of exercising and the impact it can have on their lives.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge I have is the fact that I can't see any of the data that the students record and I don't have enough time in my day to pull them in one by one or go to the computer lab and have them show me their data. I just try to keep them aware about the program and keep them interested.
