Our third year of the 100 Mile Club and it's bigger and better than ever! More student leaders are helping to run the program and recruit new participants. Students are now more focused in class and reporting less discipline problems than in previous year.
How did students and adults work together as a team?
Student leaders help run and organize the daily laps. Students help teachers organize the bar code tags so students can ealily find their tags and run more laps each day. Students help recruit more students to participate and run laps each day.
What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
The biggest challenge was getting funding to help pay for the lap tracker. Once funding was secured, it helped keep things accessible for each additional year.
What improvements have you seen at your school?
More students are engaged in daily activities and help lead other programs on campus.
