Recess Refresh — It's Not so Elementary!

Students are given the option to play outside before school. They work together to form football, basketball, and soccer teams. Some enjoy playing on the recess equipment. It is a great way for them to start their day.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Playing outside before school leaves the students energized, clear headed, stronger, and more able to take on the tasks of the day. The students come to class happy with a positive attitude that stays with them throughout the day.
