Morning Sports

This is our school’s first year in the FUEL UP TO PLAY 60 program, and since it has started there have been noticeable changes in our school environment. Earlier in the year students were not engaged in morning activities and had a tendency to misbehave or be inactive in the morning. So we encouraged the students to be active in the morning via morning announcements and with FUTP 60 homemade flyers.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

This is our school’s first year in the FUEL UP TO PLAY 60 program, and since it has started there have been noticeable changes in our school environment. Earlier in the year students were not engaged in morning activities and had a tendency to misbehave or be inactive in the morning. Now the PE field the basketball courts are teeming with students doing physical activity.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We encouraged the students to be active in the morning via morning announcements and with FUTP 60 homemade flyers. Any and all students can take part, members and non-members of FUTP 60. The number of students which participate in physical activity each morning varies by day and weather.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Be allowing students to participate in soccer, basketball and football in the morning before school, which makes the students active and energized for the start of the school day.
