Physical Activity Participation
At Northwest Elementary, we have more students than ever before participating in our after-school FUTP 60 Fitness Club and Run Club programs. Having so many students activity involved motivates others to be active before, during and after school. Our students make and hang posters all over the school, encouraging students to eat healthy, work out for 60 minutes and bring equipment to school. Along with this, the students make morning announcements about being active in the classroom and help other to be well-rounded. At Northwest, we can see the improvement! Thanks FUTP 60 for all you do!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

With morning announcements, classroom participation, recess participation and two different types of after-school movement clubs.
