Moving to Get Fit

I started an after school workout club in our school gym for not only our staff, but for students and parents in our community who wished to participate. We engage in a variety of exercises such as cardio, cardio with weights, HIIT, Tabata, step aerobics, kickboxing, and Yoga. I work diligently to make sure that our school is successful in reaching a goal of moving and getting active for at least 60 minutes a day. In addition to promoting an active lifestyle, I also try to impress upon our school the importance of eating healthy foods as well. We have had great success with our staff, students, and parents moving and getting fit in our after school club.
