During National School Breakfast Week, Lovettsville Elementary set up local "heroes" and "celebrities" to help serve breakfast in our school cafeteria. The mayor of Lovettsville, high school football players, the King and Queen of our Oktoberfest, beloved preschool teachers, and fire and rescue squad members each took time to help out every day. The results were amazing. Breakfast participation that week increase by 210%!!!!! It has continued even after that week was over.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We increased awareness of school breakfast.
