Physical Activity Participation

Our student body, including all organizations of football, volleyball, student council and step team met at a site and walked to school as a group. This was a celebration of activity for National Walk to School Day.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Teachers, parents, and law officials were on hand to supervise crosswalks and intersections.

How did you accomplish your goals?

There were several students that were taken to the site to walk to school together with their friends; they are normally just dropped off at school.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

To have the students meet together at the same time and place was a difficult task. The students that arrived late found their friends along the way and just joined in.
