New London Middle School started a Walking Wednesday program. During nice weather, we use the track and in winter, we use the gym. Students tracked their miles using EZScanner and the EZMileage tracker, which uses QR codes for each lap outside. Using this, over 300 children logged over 600 miles. It was such a great program that our running club starting using the tracker also. We used these miles to apply for the Super Bowl competition and WON!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our FUTP 60 team used their phones and Ipads to scan the QR codes as students came around the track. They also supervised the table to earn prizes and helped students take pictures at the selfie station.
