With the Funds that we received from FUTP 60, we put in a teather ball court in our playground. We also bought a soccer goal and new playground balls. Students are much more engaged during recess. The students are excited to get outside and play and we see more students staying after school to play as well. Thank you FUTP 60!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The high school students and I put in the teather ball pole together. We cleared an area, dug a hole, and put in concrete. It was a team effort.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This will be a game that is played throughout the year. Even in the dead of the winter, students will still enjoy the playground balls. They will be able to use them in the gym as well.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

We had to find an area and pass it through the school board. There was a little resistance to the addition of the teatherball court and soccer goal. Once we added them the people were very pleased.
