Students and teachers sign up to be a part of this exciting event that we have at our school. Everyone is talking about what they are eating for healthy snacks, and they are excited to try some of the recipes in the recipe book that was given to all students. Students and teachers are tracking their snacks for 21 days in a row! This is holding everyone accountable to eat some of those delicious and healthy fruits and vegetables.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We have a Run Club each year. This year there are 12 student helpers. I organized who was in each group and posted that information for the group leaders to see. My PTA rep is creating some exercises to do along the run. The student leaders check students in, help the kiddos put on their jerseys, lead stretches, and gather their group back up after our run/walk is over.

How did you accomplish your goals?

I am only able to accomplish my goals by working as a team with my PTA healthy lifestyle chair and my group leaders. They are the ones who make our run club successful. They do a wonderful job running our program each week.
