We held a Punt, Pass, Kick Contest. Each contestant had to punt, pass, and kick a football. The distance was measured and we gave prizes to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place boys and girls from 6th and 7th grade. We had over 400 students participate.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and adult volunteers had to collect the names and info of the participants. They also had to work together to measure the distance the football traveled.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We wanted at least half of the students in the school to participate. We have a student body of 754 students. We had 446 participants, well over half of the student body.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Had a few challenges collecting the data and tabulating results. Another teacher helped set up a Google doc, which solved the logistics problem.
