North Salisbury Fuel Up Football
Students play football at recess (not all student have transportation after school) and after school with guidance from PE teachers. All abilities are encouraged to join in! Students are working on being team players, encouraging others, being ambassadors for wellness in their community and showing good sportsmanship.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Students will meet with PE teachers during recess and encourage other students who are not familiar with the game or comfortable to join in. Opportunities for an after school club will also be offered.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Teachers and students have an opportunity to work together outside of the regular physical education setting to build lasting relationships. Teachers encourage students to take leadership roles and promote health and physical fitness in their communities.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

We are still waiting on our belts and flags. Students want to make the sport contact. This is an ongoing process to make the game more inclusive. Hoping the arrival of flags soon will help!
