Students especially in fourth grade are more conscientious of what they are putting in their bodies. They are reading the ingredients on the labels of their snacks and determining or will ask how healthy the snack is. They are making better choices in bringing in snacks that are natural.
How did you accomplish your goals?
During the health lessons, teaching students how to read the label on the food and what the most important ingredients are. Especially when picking out breakfast cereals.
