The music teacher and physical education teacher at Oak Grove Elementary joined forces to create an awesome two-week unit on dancing. We taught over 500 students line dances, role call dances, and modern dances. The dances ranged from Alabama Gal to Soldier Boy to the Electric Slide. Teachers would also come in on their plan time and join in on the fun. Students are still asking to do many of these dances in warm-ups for physical education and cannot wait for the next Dance Week!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This was so popular that we will continue doing this every year.
