Our Junior High Fuels Up Every Day

Our Junior High student body took on the video challenge to showcase how they fuel up every day the Sycamore way! They worked hard to embrace the NFL and Cincinnati Bengals by supporting them with their Bengals gear and rooting on our home team against the Steelers in the play-offs. The entire video was made by the students in the video club.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JftjVOY7aA#action=share

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The student body of Sycamore Junior High School all worked as a team! The Fuel Up To Play 60 group, video club, Child Nutrition workers and Director as well as the video club advisor developed the idea and created a story line.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

It was difficult to get such a large amount of students to work on one cohesive project, but with good planning and time management it went well.

How did you accomplish your goals?

First, we had to decide to commit to the project. Next we gathered key players to get involved and got the administrative support. As a group, we came up with a timeline, planned the video and met the deadlines. This resulted in a successful project!
