Our Lady of Hope/St.Luke School Went the Distance
Our Lady of Hope/St. Luke School encourages its students to participate in physical activity. Our Fuel Up to Play 60 track club trained in preparation for the annual Archbishop Curley High School Classic Cross Country run. A total of 19 students representing grades 3 through 8 participated in the Curley race in November. Six of our students finished in the top 10 of their age group and received a medal, and 14 students improved their best practice time.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Mr. T, OLH/St. Luke School’s physical education teacher is going to continue working with students during gym class and once a week after school for track club throughout the school year.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students' participation in the track club increased from 6 to 26 students, with more students expressing interest in joining the club in the future. Students have shown a desire to sponsor a race/event at our school in the spring.
