Packer Camp

On Tuesday, October 18th, the Packer Outreach Camp came to Altoona Intermediate School. Tony Fisher, former running back for the Green Bay Packers, and Ryan Fencl ran 240 4th and 5th graders through 5 stations of pure football fun! The kids loved it, parents loved it, high school football players couldn't get enough, and our entire staff loved it as well. We feel very blessed to have been selected to host the camp at our own Fuzzy Thurston Field:). Our FUTP 60 team helped set up, organize, manage, and take down the event. It was an awesome day! Thank you FUTP 60!!!!!!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We all worked together to get everyone organized and through the stations.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

We have increased the numbers of students who are now involved with our Fuel Up to Play 60 program.
