Parkside Family Fitness Nights are great way for our families and community to come together and support health and wellness. We have several activities in which families participate together as well as a health fair in which everyone can see what is available in the community that promotes healthy lifestyles. We also had an Eat the Alphabet Challenge in which families got to try a "GO" food from each letter of the alphabet. We had over 600 people in attendance!!

How did you accomplish your goals?

We always challenge our students to eat more "GO" foods and the Eat the Alphabet Challenge was a great opportunity to do this. We met our goals by introducing new foods to students and their families.
