Access to Healthy Foods,  Student Leadership

Students led the school in a healthy eating snack bar for the after-school activity students. They served smoothies to the students. It was amazing to see a student-led group taking charge of healthy eating.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will be doing this activity every fall and spring in our school!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

This was a student-led activity that the adults in the program helped with. The students made the smoothies and organized the snacks while the adults facilitated and provided resources.
