The students got involved in this program right away. They understood that running gives them the conditioning to participate in other sports. The student have been participating in basketball, soccer, football, dancing, cheerleading, running, and walking. They have enjoyed all the activities the school has to offer.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Participation in the different activities such as basketball, soccer, football, dancing, cheerleading, running, and walking. Implemented an afterschool sport program.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The art teacher work with the students to create all the posters FUEL UP TO PLAY 60. In my classes of physical education the students run a mile every time I see them.

How did you accomplish your goals?

I help the students getting involved by promoting exercise and good health during my physical education classes. Talked about the importance of a healthy breakfast every day. PARTIPATION IS A MUST IN MY CLASSES.
