In order to help students improve their test scores, all students rotate between 3 stations, 45 minutes before any testing day. One station is a healthy breakfast station, one station is a hgh energy brain and body activity and one station is a relaxing mindfulness station. FUTP 60 student leaders lead the stations and FUTP 60 funds are used to purchase additional equpiment and breakfast items. All students participate with gropus of students in their grade and rotate with them through stations.
How did students and adults work together as a team?
We invite students to be a part of the planning committee and give them leadership roles to keep them invested.
How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?
Research suggests that eating a heathy breakast and engaging in brain activies increases test scores for students. Test score data will be used to continue the program.
What improvements have you seen at your school?
Students feel supported and part of the school community.
