Pep Rally

Meredith Ervin,   Granville Intermediate School
Pep Rally

Our "Brain Wave" of the Month is to do the Important first, Prioritize and our FUTP 60 students had just finished our school's MVP Challenge entry of which states the Important first when it comes to healthy living. The FUTP 60 committee performed our challenge song for parents, staff and students at our recent pep rally.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our guidance counselor worked with the FUTP 60 students in assisting them with the song. She had the student list important topics of the Fuel Up to Play 60 program and then guided them in creating the song. It was a collaborative effort.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We have a staff and student committee that work together. There is one staff member from each grade level, special area and specialist on the staff committee.

How did you accomplish your goals?

With the assistance of all the teachers allowing the students time to work on the MVP challenge video and assist with the smoothie sales at lunch, our students and staff work cooperatively.
