Persuasive Healthy Snack Writing

Our Student Ambassadors wrote a persuasive piece to encourage students to eat a healthy snack to fuel their bodies throughout the day. Students used two column notes to include the reasons to support their writing and then wrote and illustrated their pieces.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Students identified their reasons and added supporting details to show why all students should eat a healthy snack each day. After that, each student illustrated a picture to show what it would look like if healthy eating took place.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and teachers brainstormed reasons for eating healthy snacks and details to support the idea. Students talked with partners before writing took place.
