Physical Activity Madness

We are a very small rural school in Sodus, MI. We do not have access to many funds that allow us to have the adequate physical education program or recess materials that are needed. The program has inspired students to become more physically activite because of newly purchased materials. Many of the kids are far more active.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Through inspiration for the program. Also, by showing them how to use different materials they have not previously used.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

There has been far more physical activity. This is seen in both physical education and at recess.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The adults guided the students into physical activity. The students engaged and continue to engage in physical activity.
