Physical Break for Mental Relief

In-Class Physical Activity Breaks — Good For Mind and Body
Student Leadership
One of my students leaders has been implementing taking short breaks during her classes. She has been able to spread the word and get 4 out of her 8 classes to implement this strategy. This has been a success because her whole class participates in this short activity. On another note, she was chosen for a $50 Get The Word Out prize pack!

How did you accomplish your goals?

She was able to ask her teachers to incorporate a break during class and get a short physical activity to promote mental health and refocus.
