Our student FUTP 60 team planned out all of the events that they wanted to see implemented into our Kickoff event. Each grade level (4th and 5th) got 60 minutes for PE to come out and participate in all of our Kickoff events. The events that the team selected to have were an obstacle course, a quarterback challenge, a field goal challenge, a soccer challenge, a baseball challenge, a basketball challenge, a rainbow run, and a nutrition puzzle. The team helped run the event from set-up, running each of the stations, to tearing it all down at the end. Each student that completed all of the events 2x was entered into a drawing to win some FUTP 60 prizes.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students on the FUTP 60 team did all the planning and organizing of the Kickoff event while the adults just made sure they had everything they needed to make it happen.
