For our Fuel Up Your Community Play, our student council led a fundraising event called Pints to Gallons at our school. Every student took home an empty pint container to collect change in, and then brought it back to school to dump into their classroom's gallon container. All of the money went to a local food bank to help them provide milk to families in need. Our fundraiser lasted a week and a half and we raised over $2,000!!

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our student council representatives made announcements to the whole school on a regular basis to remind everyone about the fundraiser.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Teachers entered the amount of money their class brought in each day into a Google Spreadsheet so we could keep track of how much the school had raised.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to do this fundraiser again next year.
