Healthy Eating Champions in the school, who belong to the cafeterias Healthy Eating Club, prepared yogurt parfaits for the entire school to have at breakfast during National School Breakfast Week. The students had a great time making these parfaits and promoted them to their classmates the following day at breakfast. It was a great way to spread the word on how important breakfast is for students. Students thought the parfaits were delicious!
How did students and adults work together as a team?
Students created an assembly line to create the parfaits efficiently. It was a great way for them to work as a team. After five minutes, each spot was rotated, so all students got to scoop each different topping.
