Access to Healthy Foods

We started the year out with offering Grab and Go Breakfast from both of our wings. This is our largest elementary and we were struggling with having 2 stations and reaching all the students. With a grant, we were able to accomplish this and now have doubled our participation. Many days we are serving 400 students. We are reaching so many more children.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

It was hard having staff to cover both areas. With our breakfast participation increase from the new program, we are able to have the help we need come in and not effect our MPLH.
