On September 25 from 6:30-8:00 the school kicked off the Fuel Up to Play 60 program with a Sock Hop, a fun night where all the students were invited to the gym to listen to the DJ, talk with friends, and dance. The Fuel Up to Play 60 team encourages all kinds of activity even when it's an unorganized sport. Kids were so excited to bring everyone together to watch the community become more active.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Prairie View staff plans to continue the Sock Hop on a yearly basis. Our FUTP 60 Program Advisor and PE teacher plans to incorporate the idea into her physical education plans throughout the year.
