Every year, our school hosts a back-to-school/welcome to our school event for all new families. This year, our Fuel Up to Play 60 student Ambassadors were eager to share our program at the "New Family Picnic." Our students and advisors set up a table display that shared some of the great things our school does to promote healthy choices and physical activity. Our Ambassadors also assisted the Program Advisors with making smoothies and passed them out to families who were eager to learn about the program. Overall, new parents and students learned about the before- and after-school activities, received more information about FUTP 60, and received a Fuel Up to Play 60 pencil.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our student Ambassadors accomplished their goal of telling new families about Fuel Up to Play 60. They accomplished this goal by creating a bulletin board, talking with new families about our program, and making tasty smoothies.
