Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassadors created 30 second Public Service Announcements for safe play at recess or during physical activity.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

What started as a once a week, twice a month meeting has turned into every day meetings to work towards meeting our goals. Students meet with the Program Sponsor to help with various projects throughout the year.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

We started going on the morning news show announcing what new smoothie flavors would be offered at breakfast. Since starting this our numbers continue to climb.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

We had selected Ramp Up For Recess as a Play. We selected and played new activities during recess. Unfortunately, we've had a few injuries (not during our activities) but during recess time so we've decided to make 30 second public service announcements about safe play at recess to help raise awareness of the importance of playing safely at recess.
