Two of our amazing School Ambassadors tutored our staff on Brain Breaks with an amazing presentation that included the students actually leading the staff through a few movements. The initiative has gone over so well that several teachers have already incorporated them into their classroom routines! One teacher went as far as to ask our School Ambassador to LEAD the break for her class. Our next step is to have our Student Wellness Action Team (SWAT) tutor other students to perform Brain Breaks in the hopes that teachers will then be able to have more students lead breaks in their classes! Stay tuned...

How did students and adults work together as a team?

My School Ambassadors came to me and asked if I would talk to other teachers about the importance of Brain Breaks like the ones I do in my class. I told them I wouldn't do it, but I would help THEM to present it to the teachers. They jumped into it 100% and did a great job!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to train more students on how to initiate and perform Brain Breaks so the teachers can rely on them as opposed to adding more work to their already full plates.
